It is the aim of "SUZI" - Publishing House, managed by Zuzanna Sumirska, to promote top-end hairdressing education. The hairdressing books and films we have to offer were made in cooperation with leading Polish hairdressing instructors from various companies, as well as a group of experts in chemistry, knowledge on materials, technology, hairdressing techniques, styling and Work and Safety in the hairdressing profession. The knowledge we are offering is up to date in both fashion and technology you are likely to come across on both Polish and international markets. It also includes current legal regulations. The textbooks were accepted by the Ministry of Education and can be found on the list of compulsory positions for learning this profession. The remaining books and films, prepared in the form of albums and step-by-step tutorials, are considered by our clients (hairdressers, hairdressing students) to have been prepared professionally and expertly. They see them as valuable for both the salon and the hairdresser. We cooperate with numerous companies (brands) which also see it as their goal to develop hairdressing education.

 
Zuzanna Sumirska is the owner, author and co-author of the books and films, as well as the editor and publisher thereof. Since 2009 she has been organising the Youth Śląsk Cup in Katowice. She also organises educational conferences on hairdressing during the LOOK Trade Fair in Poznań, as well as the Śląsk Trade Fair in Katowice.

• She has been cooperating with the Ministry of Education for the past 10 years, drawing up teaching curricula for hairdressing schools, as well as writing numerous professional opinions

• She cooperates with both state and private schools, Centres for Professional Development, training centres and training salons

• For 5 years she has been the factual juror in the Gold Medal Jury at the Look Trade Fair in Poznań

• Since the very beginning of her work with hairdressing, she has actively participated in interschool and internal school events that include both hairdressing and cosmetic competitions, hairdressing shows or hairdressing-related lectures

• She supports Gilds and Craft Associations that promote hairdressing among youths, and hairdressing salons in a given area

• For 4 years she has had a seat on the main stage during the International Look Trade Fair in Poznan. Along with other participants of the fair, she has marvelled at the high level of the performances of youth groups (from various hairdressing schools), organised in cooperation with SUZI Publishing House and the teachers from the various schools.

SUZI Media Publishing House sees it as its mission to maintain a high level of hairdressing education and to coordinate cooperation between professional hairdressing and cosmetic companies, and hairdressing as well as hairdressing-cosmetic schools. Establishing such contacts leads to an increase in the level of teaching and the possibility to share knowledge, thus raising professional consciousness among future generations of hairdressers. It can also create lasting partnerships.
